Apple releases iOS 16.4

Apple Has Released iOS 16.4, Which Includes New Emoji and Call Voice Isolation

Apple has updated its devices with iOS 16.4, iPadOS 16.4, tvOS 16.4, and macOS Ventura 13.3. Users can update their devices by using the “Software Update” feature in the device’s Settings app, which is under the “General” settings.

The most recent update adds 21 new emojis, such as a pink heart, a face shaking, and different animals and objects. The update also adds voice isolation for cell phone calls, which can be accessed from the Control Center while on a call.

Also, the update gives iOS developers the ability to send push notifications from the web to users who have pinned a web app to their Home Screen. The iOS 16.4 update also improves Crash Detection on the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

You probably already know that the Warhammer 40K community enjoys playing as cruel troops with superpowers in games like the original Warhammer 40K: Space Marine:

The update also fixes bugs related to duplicate albums in Photos and adds the ability to find duplicate photos or videos in an iCloud Shared Library. The iOS 16.4 update adds features that make it easier for people with disabilities to use their devices. For example, VoiceOver now works with maps in the Weather app, and there is an option to automatically dim videos when strobe effects are detected.

Also, the iPhone’s keyboard can now recognize and support native languages like Chickasaw and Choctaw. It also supports transliteration for the keyboards of languages like Gujarati, Punjabi, and Urdu.

The update fixes problems with Ask to Buy requests not showing up on the parent’s device and with Matter-compatible thermostats that can’t work with Apple Home devices.
