Final Fantasy 14 Server Updates

Final Fantasy 14 Servers Are Getting Updates at Last!

In the next few days, Final Fantasy 14 will update the server equipment in four data centers. These upgrades have been long overdue. Square Enix told people about the server upgrades on March 20.

The upgrades will happen on the same day that a small content update for Final Fantasy 14 comes out. With the addition of the Reaper and Sage jobs, the Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy 14 came out in December 2021.

The game was praised for its story, music, and gameplay, all of which were improved by the new jobs. Endwalker, on the other hand, had problems like long lines to log in and bugs because so many people wanted to play the game and see how the main story turned out.

Do you know that an upcoming MMO called “The Day Before” will take place in America after a pandemic? The company Fntastic is making it:

This was partly because a lot of World of Warcraft players joined the game in the summer of 2021, which caused the game’s player count to go up. Some servers will soon get updates, though, so that similar problems can be fixed better in the future.

On April 3, at 3:00 a.m. Pacific time, the North American data centres will be down for maintenance for 24 hours. The Aether, Primal, Crystal, and Dynamis data centres are where the servers that will get new hardware are located.

Square Enix said that the upgrades should improve how the game runs on the server architecture and make sure that the game will continue to support new features in future content patches and expansions.

But the team behind Final Fantasy 14 made it clear that the server upgrades won’t change where the North American data centres are physically located. They will stay where they are now, in California.

Only time will tell what real effects these changes will have on players and how they will change in the near future. After the hardware upgrades, the Final Fantasy 14 servers will be back online on April 4 in the morning, which is also when Patch 6.38 will come out.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.35, which added some new quests and the Eureka Orthos deep dungeon, came out just four weeks before this patch. At the time of writing, we don’t know what Patch 6.38 will include.

Until Patch 6.4 comes out in a few months, most likely all that will happen are updates to the job balance and some bug fixes. The next Letter from the Producer Live show will be next Friday, March 31.

It will probably talk about the server upgrades for the North American data centres and what Final Fantasy 14 players can expect in both Patch 6.38 and Patch 6.4. In the near future, people who play Final Fantasy 14 will have a lot to do. Final Fantasy 14 is now out for PS4, PS5, and PC.
