How to Claim Twitch Drops Destiny 2

Claim Your Destiny 2 Twitch Drops and Dominate the Game!

Fans of Destiny 2 who pay for Prime have been bothering Amanda Holliday in the Tower to get their monthly Prime Gaming loot for a while now. But now, every Guardian can get their own Twitch drops by just watching certain Destiny 2 events.

As Twitch drops, Bungie is giving players another chance to get not just one, but two different emblems. This is because the showcase event on August 23, 2022 was so popular.

The Root of Nightmares Raid Race will pit teams from all over the world against each other to see who can beat the final boss first. These two cosmetic items will be available to players who watch the race. The raid’s contest mode will also be turned on for 48 hours, giving challengers more time to try out the new raid.

There are many other games out there, and we’ve covered the information you need to know about them all. You can learn more about them by perusing our articles:

As a new feature, the Raid Race will also be shown on Twitch Rivals. To celebrate, there’s nothing better than giving players who watch some free Twitch drops. The race starts at 11 a.m. CT, but the Twitch broadcast starts half an hour earlier. Learn the ins and outs of getting Destiny 2 Twitch drops here.

How to get Twitch drops for Destiny 2?

To get Destiny 2 Twitch drops, you must link your Twitch and Bungie accounts and watch certain events. You don’t have to run activities from a playlist, get currency, or farm bosses: All you have to do is watch an event that has Twitch drops turned on and link your accounts.

To get their Twitch drops for the Destiny 2 showcase event, players will have to watch at least 30 minutes of the broadcast. The event starts at 11 a.m. CT and goes until 1:30 p.m. CT, so players who watch at least 30 minutes of it on eligible accounts can get their Twitch drops.

Log into your Bungie account on the official Bungie website, then go to the account linking page (located under the Settings tab of your account). From there, link the Twitch account you’ll use to watch the showcase and get Twitch drops. The Twitch extension should already be set up for players who use it for reaction bounties or gifted sub bounties.

If the process doesn’t work, you can also follow the steps on Bungie’s page about its Twitch extension. Sign into your Twitch account, then watch a streamer who has the official Twitch extension turned on. From there, click the Viewer Bounties tab on the overlay and hit the Grant Permissions button. This will ask you to link your Bungie.net account.

How to Get Root of Nightmares Raid Race Twitch Drops in Destiny 2?

Guardians can get two different Twitch Drops for the Root of Nightmares raid, depending on what they watch: the Dim Italics emblem and the Particle Acceleration emblem.

You can get these two by watching some of the raids during release week, but their deadlines are different. You can still get both of them at the same time, though.

You can get the Dim Italics emblem by watching the Twitch Rivals broadcast or any other participating stream for at least two hours. The timer starts at 10:30 am CT when the broadcast starts.

The Particle Acceleration emblem, on the other hand, can be earned by watching any Destiny 2 streamer on Twitch for at least two hours as long as contest mode is active, which is between 11 a.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Sunday.
