Final Fantasy XVI New Gameplay

New Gameplay Footage for Final Fantasy XVI Focuses on Clive’s Faithful Wolf Torgal

The wolf companion Torgal of Final Fantasy XVI, Clive, and his special combat abilities have been the focus of new gameplay footage released today.

The new video, which you can watch below, is the first official part of Torgal’s introduction. Clive will be able to tell Torgal what to do in battle so that he can use powerful combo attacks that give them new ways to fight.

Since fighting enemies for more than 80 hours in Final Fantasy XVI could get boring, the addition of these combat options that involve both Clive and Torgal is more than welcome.

We haven’t seen all of the options that will be available in the next game in the series when it comes out later this year, but each new revelation makes things look better and better.

Do you know that in the next few days, four data centres will receive an update to their server equipment for Final Fantasy 14? These changes have been overdue for a long time. On March 20, Square Enix told people about the changes to the servers:

Final Fantasy XVI will be the first game in the series to have a full-action combat system, which many people don’t think is right for a main game in the series.

Clearly, series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi doesn’t agree with this, since he recently said that producer Naoki Yoshida really gets the spirit of the series and has a lot of respect for older games, so he’s sure that the next game in the series will be great in all ways.

Final Fantasy XVI will be available on PlayStation 5 around the world on June 22. The game will be exclusive to the PS5 console for six months.

A PC version will come out at some point, but not exactly when the exclusivity period is over because it would be impossible to optimize a PC version well in just six months.
