resident evil 4 remake Ada Wong Actor Deactivates Instagram Comments

Ada Wong Actor From Resident Evil 4 Remake Disables Instagram Comments After Vicious Fan Response

Lily Gao, who voices Ada Wong, turned off comments on her Instagram posts after getting thousands of mean comments about how she played Wong in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Most of the hateful comments are now hidden from view, but some players were able to take screenshots of them. This shows how some fans have been unnecessarily mean to Wong.

As shown in the screenshot tweeted by a user, One melodramatic commenter said –

“You ruined the remake. I feel like I just wasted my money by buying the deluxe edition to get this VA to dub Ada.”

Another catastrophist added –

“Great, now when Separate Ways comes out I have to put it on mute. Worst voice acting I have heard in years. Why Capcom hired you instead of the past actress is beyond me.”

One bewildered fan asked in a tweet

“Why do they act like she personally tried to murder them?”

Gao hasn’t said anything about the issue in public, but she has removed comments from any posts that talked about her role in the remake. And now, all but one of the posts have been taken down, and comments have been turned off for the one post that is still there.

Do you know that Sega has said that Sonic the Hedgehog has died? In the trailer for The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, a new, official and most importantly, free murder mystery game that is now available on Steam:

The extreme reaction from fans is reminiscent of the backlash voice actress Laura Bailey received after her performance as Abby in The Last of Us 2. So much of an actor’s performance is out of their hands, like the script, the director, and the editing, but that hasn’t stopped this ridiculous group of fans from flooding Gao’s social media with mean comments.

This week, people who play the Resident Evil 4 remake found a way to skip the boss fight with the Village Chief. If you don’t want to fight Mendez again on your new game plus playthrough, you can reload a previous autosave and skip the boss fight.

GameRadar+ gave Resident Evil 4 Remake an impressive 4.5 stars out of 5 in their review, which said –

“Capcom has delivered a great remake of a classic game, one which captures everything that made it so special to begin with. Resident Evil 4 Remake is full of action and variety that’s as exhilarating now as it ever was.”
