Silent Hill 2 Remake Release Date

Silent Hill 2’s Remake Could Come Out Sooner Than People Thought

The upcoming remake of Silent Hill 2 may be coming out sooner than we thought. The Silent Hill series used to be a key part of the horror genre in video games, but it went downhill quickly and stopped being made. With Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills, it seemed like the series was going to make a huge comeback that would reinvent the series.

But gamers can’t have nice things, so it was canceled and fans were left to wonder what could’ve been. After that whole mess, the series stopped being made, but now there are a lot of new games coming out and a big remake of Silent Hill 2.

Pitor Babieno, the president of Bloober Team, told Bankier.pl that the remake of Silent Hill 2 is “technically ready,” but not quite done. But it’s almost done, and Konami is the only one who knows when it will come out.

The final decision about how to market and release the game lies with Konami. But it seems unlikely that Konami would want to sit on a finished or almost finished game, especially one as big as this one.

Babieno said –

“Silent Hill 2 is technically ready. It does not mean that the game is finished, but we are close. However, the issue of the release schedule lies with our partners, what the promotion will look like and when the title will debut is not directly in our hands.”

Maybe if we’re lucky, the game will come out this summer. But it’s possible that Konami would be more interested in waiting until October when everything is scary.

That hasn’t stopped Capcom from putting out Resident Evil games in the spring and summer, though, so maybe it won’t matter to Konami either. Even so, it looks like we’ll be hearing more about the Silent Hill 2 remake soon since it’s getting close to being done.
